CBVE is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts the programming of the CBC Radio One network at 104.7 FM in Quebec City.

The station launched in 1976.

The station's local programs are Quebec AM, hosted by Tim Belford, in the mornings and Breakaway, hosted by Jacquie Czernin, in the afternoons.

[edit] Transmitters

Although some CBC Radio One transmitters in Quebec are technically listed as retransmitters of Montreal's CBME-FM, all of them air CBVE's local programming. CBME's local morning and afternoon programs air only on CBME itself, and are not heard on any of the network's rebroadcast transmitters.

CBVE and the rebroadcast transmitters throughout the province are organized into the Quebec Community Network, with a special mandate to provide service to the province's anglophone minority.
