[edit] Image Tagging Image:CDATH010.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:CDATH010.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairusein|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by going to "Your contributions" from your user page and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --Steve block talk 14:46, 1 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi, sorry to be a pain, but you haven't actually listed a source for the image. Did you scan it yourself or did you get it from the web? If from the web please list the website, otherwise if you scanned it yourself, please detail where from, i.e. which country version of the single, as the copyright holder may differ from country to country. If the sleeve contains any copyright information, please detail that as well. Thanks. For more details see Wikipedia:Image use policy: Always provide a detailed source for where the image came from. [edit] L. Wells

It's "L. Wells", not "Lindsey Wells". Check their website if you don't believe me. --[kazikame] 17:35, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Infobox Single formatting

Uh, I'm honestly not sure where your chosen style of formatting on I'm with Stupid (song) comes from. I personally updated the HTML lists to wikicode lists at Wikipedia:WikiProject Songs some time ago, and I have never seen a guideline without the centre chronology item bolded anywhere. –Unint 22:59, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Smiley Faces" cover

I changed it back to use the small gif instead of your large jpg since the colors are clearer in the gif and don't blur, and the smaller image has a better fair use claim (there's no need to upload that large fair use images when they are only going to be used with 200px width). Hope you understand. --Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 09:28, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Frank Miller disambiguation

I see you're a devoted editor to the Batman universe. As a friendly reminder, for your future reference, please disambiguate references to Frank Miller, as [[Frank Miller (comics)|Frank Miller]]. Cheers. -- Robocoder (t|c) 20:12, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Caesars,jerkitout.2003single.cover.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Caesars,jerkitout.2003single.cover.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Past Masters, Volume One and Past Masters, Volume Two

Why did you delete the LP sides as well as the LP release dates? The Capitol LP label in the Volume Two article PROVES, yes PROVES that the LP was released! Steelbeard1 03:45, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Removing the mention of Oasis & Westlife albums when talking about LOVE being placed at #3..

Hi,

Thanks for your participation in the Beatles "Love" article. We all aim to provide professional unbiased knowledge within "Wikipedia".. The reason why I removed the mention of Oasis and Westlife albums being placed ahead of LOVE in the charts is to let the readers focus on the necessary info. in that section. In my opinion what counts in that paragraph is at what position this compilation placed in the charts (which is #3); meanwhile, who came at #2, and at #1 is a totally different story (with all respect to Oasis, and Westlife and their music), and completely irrelevant as Beatles were 60's band, while Oasis, and Westlife are more recent 90's and 00's bands. That would have been relevant if it were more like the battle of Britpop between Oasis / Blur in 1995, then it would have been necessary to mention the nearest rivals in the charts. Similaryly, "Let It Be.. Naked" was released in 2003, but failed to reached #1 in UK, Does it matter to you for the first instance now who has reached the top spot then?

At the same time, the link to the article with more details (including info. about Oasis and westlife albums) should be kept to satisfy visitors who wants to get more info. about this.

Thanks
