[edit] Bulgaria (Wombles)

I recreated the article that was speedy deleted as a redirect to The Wombles. I merged the content, but in my edit summary, I mistakenly attributed the original edits to you. Sorry! --Elliskev 19:13, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] deletor

Why do you spend so much time deleting worthy articles instead of creating content?--Sugarcaddy 00:15, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

  • When I have large chunks of freetime, I write new articles or edit existing ones, I'm also part of the Spoken Wikipedia Project, but I need a whole day free to rweally help with that, so it's few and far between. More often, I only have a few minutes gfree at a time, or I have some computer time while I'm doing something else (like proctoring a test), where I can't devote a lot of attention to the project, but I can still add SD tags to woerthless articles. I consider that a controbution itself... albeit, a thankless one  :) CB Droege 13:57, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion criteria

Hi! I've noticed you've tagged quite a few articles for speedy deletion today. I wanted to point out a couple of things:

  1. Please make sure that you are using the official criteria for speedy deletion. "Non-notable fancruft" might be a reason for an article to be deleted, but it's not speediable. The same applies to articles that are unencyclopedic or advertisements. You might want to check out proposed deletions for those kinds of articles.
  2. You might also consider leaving messages on the talk pages of users whose articles you nominate, as part of not biting the newcomers. There's a collection of templated warnings you can use at WP:TT.
  3. Also, I've noticed you've been tagging your edits as minor. While the edit may be small, it's not minor--minor edits should be reserved for edits that are entirely non-controversial. Marking an article for deletion can be considered controversial, and thus it should not be marked as minor. Plus, by not marking the edit as minor, you increase the chances of an admin quickly seeing it. (Many people doing RCP ignore minor edits when reviewing Special:Recentchanges.)

Whew! This is nothing too major, but I thought I'd give you some advice. Let me know if you have any questions, and keep up the good work! -- Merope Talk 20:52, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Przemyslaw Czerwinski

I'd urge you to remove the db-bio tag you have placed on this article as it does not meet speedy deletion criteria (see my explanation on talk page), and so you may allow an admin to spend more time on removing articles that do meet the criteria. Catchpole 20:58, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WP:PROD

I noticed that you reverted to replace the proposed deletion template on an article. Anyone may remove that template for any reason (even in bad faith). Once it is removed, it cannot be replaced -- the article must go through the WP:AFD process. I have reverted to remove the proposed deletion template. Erechtheus 14:32, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] BabyFit

This article, which you nominated for speedy deletion (and then reverted the removal of the tag on two occasions), is now being discussed at Wikipedia:Deletion review, where you comments would be most welcome. Thryduulf 15:18, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
