A cavesson is a type of noseband found on the bridle of a horse. It is the simplest type of noseband, consisting of a strap that encircles the horse's nose just below its cheekbone.

A longeing cavesson is a piece of equipment used in longeing a horse. It is used on the horse's head and provides control without placing pressure on the horse's mouth.
