The Cavan Senior Football Club Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top Cavan Clubs. The winners of the Cavan Championship qualify to represent their county in the Ulster Club Championship and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. Cornafean have won the most titles, an amazing 20 wins. Although, Cornafean have not managed to win the title since 1956. The current senior football champions are Mullahoran, having lost in the final for the last three years in a row. Mullahoran defeated the 2005 champions Cavan Gaels by a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-10 at Breffni Park.
