From 1801 to 1885 County Cavan was one constituency with two Members of Parliament who both represented the whole of the county.

- 1806-1824: John Maxwell-Barry, succeeded in 1824 as 5th Baron Farnham
- 1824-1839: Henry Maxwell, succeeded in 1839 as 7th Baron Farnham
- 1826-1831: Alexander Saunderson
- 1831-1857: John Young (Tory/Peelite), later 1st Baron Lisgar
