Cavachon

A Cavachon is a type of dog that results from the cross breed of the Bichon Frise and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They develop a non-shedding to low-shedding coat and the kind temperament of the Bichon Frise and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeds. The thumbprint of the King Charles Spaniel is evident in some Cavachons. Purebreds of both the Bichon Frise and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel must be used as the parents to produce a Cavachon, but it is thought to not matter which one is the mother or father.
