Catrin Finch

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Catrin Finch (born 1980) is a Welsh harpist born in Llanon, Ceredigion.

In 2000, she performed at London's Wigmore Hall, and in the same year she was appointed official harpist to the Prince of Wales. It was the first time the royal family had accorded such an honour since the reign of Queen Victoria. In 2004 she played a pink electric harp at the 60th birthday celebrations of composer Karl Jenkins.

In 2003, Finch married Hywel Wigley, son of politician Dafydd Wigley and prominent harpist Elinor Bennett, her former teacher.
