Cathy Moriarty

Cathy Moriarty (born November 29, 1960, in The Bronx, New York City) is an American actress of Irish Catholic descent.
Her first film credit was Martin Scorsese's Raging Bull in 1980, as Vicki LaMotta, the wife of Robert DeNiro's lead character. Her performance earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Her other film credits have included Casper, Soapdish, But I'm A Cheerleader, New Waterford Girl, Kindergarten Cop, Prince of Central Park, Cop Land and Analyze That.
She also appeared opposite Andrew Dice Clay in the short-lived CBS sitcom Bless This House (1995).
She is now known professionally and personally as Cathy Moriarty-Gentile.
