Catholic Central High School (CCH) was London Ontario's first Catholic High School, opened with Grade 11, 12 and 13 in September 1950. It is situated in the heart of the city and provides a Christ-centered, culturally diverse, vibrant learning environment.

It has an International Baccalaureate program with some exceptionally gifted students. CCH is also home to the Music Extension Program allowing students from the city of London and its' surrounding areas to participate in unique arts programming including: vocal, band, string orchestra and theatre. Most students in the program start in grade 5 at St. Mary's Choir and Orchestra school and continue on with their arts education at CCH.

CCH IS THE BEST! Everyone is kind and the teachers are really great. And Mrs.Bell is also the nicest Lady on the planet! -CCH student.

[edit] CCH Traditions

CCH has many student social activities that have become annual events.

The Golden Puck Hockey game against rivals STA is always a spectacle worth attending. Usually held at the Western Fair Sports Arena, students from both schools deck themselves in full school spirit gear to watch the game.

The Annual "Rook Party" [a non-school sanctioned event] is held to welcome new members to the CCH Senior [Varsity] Football team. "Rookies" are usually students in grade 11, but can be as young as grade 10 depending on ability. The party is held off campus on private properties [usually owned by members of the football team or their parents] and the exact location and details are kept quiet to avoid conflicts with administration. The party is usually attended by the majority of CCH students. In recent years, part of the tradition has become warding off uninvited "guests" from rival high schools [such as those guests from RMC].
