Catherine class minesweeper
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Catherine class minesweepers were obtained by the Royal Navy under the Lend-Lease Programme from America during World War II. They were built as part of the US Navy Auk class minesweeper programme and designated BAM-1 to BAM-32. Not all of these vessels were supplied, however, and 22 ships were named.
