Catherine Walker was a fictional character in the BBC TV series The Amazing Mrs Pritchard. She was the Deputy PM and Chancellor of the Exchequer and deputy to Ros Pritchard. She was having a sexual relationship with her speechwriter Ben Sixsmith and got pregnant by him but she aborted the baby.
She was at Oxford University and had an chance to go to Princeton University but her tutor Hilary Rees-Benson (who turned out to be Pritchard's Home Secretary) didn't give it to her. That explains why she doesn't get along with her in the Cabinet. She was formerly in love to Conservative Leader Paul Critchley but he cheated on her when she was Conservative Shadow Health Secretary.
