Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile d'Albi

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile d'Albi was constructed from 1282 to 1480, built in the wake of the Albigensian heresy and crusade against same. Its fortress-like form may reflect this.

The bell-tower stands 78 meters tall.
