[edit] Plot
Maddy, with help from her two best friends Austin and Gus, robs the state-of-the-art bank in which her mother works in order to get the money required to save her dying father, suffering the after-effects of a fall during a hiking expedition. During the heist, the kids overcome high-tech security systems, guard dogs, and a nasty head of security to get to a bank vault suspended 100 feet off the ground.
However, this is not the only conflict in the story. Austin and Gus are both in love with Maddy and when Maddy kisses Austin on the cheek a couple of days before the robbery, Gus gets mad and jealous and refuses to help anymore, although they need him for the robbery.
So Maddy formulates a plan. She buys a pair of necklaces, one that says "LO" and one that says "VE" and gives one each to each boy, telling them that she likes him the most and that she has the other half. She also kisses both of them.
