Catburglaz
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
CatBurglaz is a Montreal-based rap group known for their creativity and bi-lingual rhymes. In 1999, D.Odz joined Dice B. and SunShan to form the trio. That same year, D.Odz, the half-Italian-half-Quebecer from Saitn-Leonard, founded Seven Seas Entertainment with his long time buddy and manager Léonce Simard. Author, composer, entrepreneur and producer of last four videos of the group, D.Odz has never lacked imagination and creativity. He is the writer for all of the French texts of L'Album Français - Prise 2, the groups latest album.
Two brothers from Haiti, SunShan and Dice B. grew up in Rivière-des-Prairies. At 12 years old, SunShan was already a surprising rapper, rocking the mic with passion and skills. He never looked back and a tremendous freestyle rapper was born. Dice B., his older brother, has been part of the Hip Hop scene since the late 80's, first with a group called Jay Soul and then the Souls Tribe. In 1994, he produced the first English hip hop album in Quebec, and started his career as a Radio host on Nuit Blanche 102.3FM, a show that became the oldest French hip hop radio show in America.
