Catalyst project
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Catalyst Project is a San Francisco-based center for political education and movement building. It prioritizes anti-racist work with mostly white sections of left/radical social movements with the goal of deepening anti-racist commitment in white communities and building multiracial left movements for liberation. Catalyst utilizes anti-racist strategies that prioritize leadership development, building grassroots fighting organizations and multiracial alliance building.
Members of the Catalyst Project situate their work as educators and organizers within a global movement against the oppressive institutions of capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy, and state power. The Catalyst Project developed out of the Challenging White Supremacy workshop in San Francisco.
