Cat Lake, Ontario

Cat Lake is an Ojibwa community 180 km northwest of Sioux Lookout in northwestern Ontario with a population as of 2003 of 465. It is only accessible by plane, and by winter/ice roads, which connect to the Northern Ontario Resource Trail. In 2003, it expanded its reserve land to 1,271 hectares from 218 under the Government of Canada's Addition to Reserve Policy[1].
