Cat Hope

Cat Hope is an Australian musician and academic, based in Perth, Western Australia. Besides performing in the bands Lux Mammmoth and Gata Negra, she also performs solo noise music using bass guitar.
Hope lectures in classical music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. In 2000 she was awarded the Pandora's Box Film Festival Award for best film score. In 2000 her music was included in the Extreme Music From Women compilation, issued by the Susan Lawly label.
