This is for your incredible work reverting the History of the board game Monopoly article that is currently featured on the main page. I am inspired by your vandal-fighting skills. Good job! Sharkface217 00:57, 13 December 2006 (UTC) |
- You're quite welcome. Sharkface217 01:17, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] From Jimmy Bondé 007 de la vandali
I am sorry. I am a deep, infinite wellspring of regret. Please accept my humblest apologies. May I be pecked to death by angry Wikipedians. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jimmy Bondé 007 de la vandali (talk • contribs) 01:42, 13 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Main page feature
Well, since you seem to be doing a pretty good job over there, I'll move on to something different for the time being. The vandals are getting to me. Circeus 02:03, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
I saw you just reverted vandalism - good. I do not know how to edit the Main Page (maybe locked?) But the name Monopoly is not capitalised near the beginning. Should be fixed. Carrionluggage 02:36, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
- That's not necessary. Monopoly, or more properly MONOPOLY refers to Parker Brothers trademark. The word when used all lower case does not, and in fact refers to versions of the game made and played by various groups of Americans before Charles Darrow began selling the game. Raul's write-up for the Main Page blurb is factually correct. Hi Casper2K3 by the way - good job vandal fighting so far. --JohnDBuell 02:47, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
