Castro Daire (pron. IPA: ['kaʃtɾu 'daiɾ(ɨ)]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 379.1 km² and a total population of 16,846 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of twenty two parishes and is located in the district Viseu.

The present mayor is Maria Eulália da Silva Teixeira, elected by the Social Democratic Party.

The municipal holiday is June 29.
