Castiglione Chiavarese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 50 km southeast of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,580 and an area of 30.1 km2.[1]

The municipality of Castiglione Chiavarese contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Campegli, Casali,Conio,Fiume,Casa del Monte, Masso,Mereta, Missano, San Pietro Frascati, Velva, and Velva Santuario.

Castiglione Chiavarese borders the following municipalities: Carro, Casarza Ligure, Deiva Marina, Maissana, Moneglia.
