Castelvetro di Modena is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 30 km west of Bologna and about 15 km south of Modena. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,278 and an area of 49.7 km2.[1]

The municipality of Castelvetro di Modena contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Levizzano Rangone, Solignano Nuovo, and Ca' di Sola.
