Castelvetro Piacentino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 130 km northwest of Bologna and about 25 km east of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,129 and an area of 35.1 km2.[1]

The municipality of Castelvetro Piacentino contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Croce Santo Spirito, Mezzano Chitantolo, and San Giuliano.

Castelvetro Piacentino borders the following municipalities: Cremona, Gerre de' Caprioli, Monticelli d'Ongina, Spinadesco, Stagno Lombardo, Villanova sull'Arda.
