Castelletto Merli is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 40 km east of Turin and about 35 km northwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 499 and an area of 11.8 km2.[1]

Castelletto Merli borders the following municipalities: Alfiano Natta, Cerrina Monferrato, Mombello Monferrato, Moncalvo, Odalengo Piccolo, and Ponzano Monferrato.
