Castell'Azzara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Grosseto in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 120 km southeast of Florence and about 50 km east of Grosseto. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,733 and an area of 64.8 km2.[1]
The municipality of Castell'Azzara contains the frazione (subdivision) Selvena.
Castell'Azzara borders the following municipalities: Piancastagnaio, Proceno, Santa Fiora, Semproniano, Sorano.
