Castelfondo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 45 km north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 624 and an area of 25.8 km2.[1]
Castelfondo borders the following municipalities: St. Pankraz-San Pancrazio, Senale-San Felice, Laurein-Lauregno, Fondo, and Brez.
