Casimirianum

The Casimirianum is a gymnasium (high school) in Coburg, Bavaria. It was founded in 1605 by Johann Casimir (1564-1633) after whom it is named.
Famous alumni include:
- August Schleicher (b. 1821), linguist
- Johann Caspar Goethe, father of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, attended from 1725-1730
