Case IH
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Case IH is a brand of agricultural equipment manufactured by CNH Global, a part of Fiat.
The Case IH name originates from Case Corporation and International Harvester, both predecessors to CNH Global. In 1985 Tenneco purchased most of the agricultural equipment assets from International Harvester Company and merged them with their company, J.I. Case to form the Case IH brand. In 1999 Case Corporation merged with New Holland to form CNH Global N.V. The brand Case IH is now used for agricultural equipment, whereas the brand Case or Case CE is used for construction equipment.
