[edit] Newgrounds BBS

You re-created the entry on the NG BBS, not withstanding that it was previously deleted with a strong concensus. Don't break Wikipedia rules again or you might get banned. Mackan 08:56, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

The recreated article has now been speedy deleted. Please understand that the Wikipedia community has agreed that the Newsgrounds BBS is not notable enough to warrant an article. Please do not continue to recreate this article. Thanks, Gwernol 10:40, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Newgrounds

I too, am a fan of Newgrounds [1], and I understand your enthusaism about the site. However, it is important for articles to be concise and focused--articles should describe the subject and major components of the subject as concisely as possible. Moreover, adding terms and important users is considered orginal research, even more so without external documentation. View Adam Fulton or Jeff Weise for an example of how important users should be documented.

It is important, just as it is at Newgrounds, to read the rules and regulations here at Wikipedia.--HowardSF 06:12, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Could you please stop adding information about the NG BBS. It's of no value to the article. 217.209.197.17 15:26, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Newgrounds

I've been monitering Newgrounds for some time, and there seems to be some controversy regarding the inclusion of the BBS in the article. Now I know that you personally think that information in the BBS belongs in the article and that many editors agree with you, I also know though that many editors believe that there should be no mention of the BBS as is evident by their requests to delete all mention of it in the AFD for the article on the Newgrounds BBS.

Now I'm not saying that either side is right or wrong, but I feel the back and forth editing on the article needs to come to an end. I'd wonder if you and some of the editors who want it left out of the article would be willing to discuss a solution that at least gives everyone a little bit of what they want. I've left a similar message on the talk page of one of them and would appreciate if we could all sort this out before it possibly gets edit-warry. [edit] Weapons in Halo

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Weapons in Halo, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Weapons in Halo. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.
