User talk:Carl Flygt

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] g'day!

G'day Carl,

you may have noticed you've suddenly got a shiny new userpage where no userpage existed before. This is my fault. I've moved your autobiographical article off the "main article" namespace and onto your userpage. Every wikipedian who registers an account has the right to their own userspace, where they can put (almost) anything they want, including writing an article on themselves. I am sorry that your first contact with Wikipedia had to be our article deletion process; I hope we haven't scared you away. I figured putting this article in your userspace (where nobody could object to it) was better than seeing it outright deleted.

Anyway, we (okay, I and maybe a hundred others) have a tradition of welcoming new users, with a message full of useful links and suchlike. So, here goes: Welcome!

Hello Carl Flygt, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  If you have any questions, I will usually see and respond to messages left on my talkpage reasonably promptly, if not, you can click the "email this user" button while on my userpage to send me an email. Cheers, fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 01:29, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
