Carolyn Williams
A list of characteristics.
0) My husband, user:jimwilliams57, says that all lists should begin with zero. He's into that binary thing. You know, those people who think there are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't. LOL I am married to a brilliant man whom I have been both honored and humbled to share my life with.
1) I was born in Charlotte, NC... a forced Tarheel. :)
2) I spent my childhood summers and vacations at our summer home at Litchfield Beach, South Carolina. I also spent several weeks each summer at Camp Yonahlossee and Camp Greystone. I had a great childhood!
3) I went to grade school at Charlotte Country Day School.
4) I attended boarding school at Chatham Hall
5) I attended college at Gardner-Webb University.
6) I lived in North Carolina for 32 years, Folsom, California for 5 years and Atlanta, Georgia for almost 3 years.
7) I have three wonderful kids. Child number one lives in Davis, California, he is a junior at California State University Sacramento. He is a golfer and is involved at the California State Capitol as an intern for a state senator. Child number two is a sophomore at Reinhardt College, she loves to sing and was an All-American High School Cheerleader. Child number three attends Kennesaw State University. He played football for seven years and holds a USTF championship position for green and purple belts in the 16-17 age division.
8) I am a post homeschool parent which I am very thankful is over.
9) I am a proud mother and of all the accomplishments in my life, none have meaning next to this one.
10) I have two step-daughters. Step-daughter number one graduated from the University of Oklahoma and is employed in Austin, Texas. Step-daughter number two is in middle school in Chili, New York.
11) I like playing around on the internet with my online journal xanga. I really enjoy gardening and cooking as well.
12) I love dogs! I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Whitman.
13) My greatest wish in life is that Jim and I will be happy the rest of our lives and live in peace. And that all five of my children will pursue avenues that bring them great happiness, too. And I wish deeply that I will never have to bury one of my children or grandchildren whom are yet to come (that would be difficult and seems so unnatural).
