Certainly Carmine Appice is a true legend in the rock world and a big influence in countless musicians, and certainly this article should address his acomplishments. But the current format and information on this article is poorly edited, lacks an impartial POV, and definitely resembles more a fanzine article than a clear and objective Wikipedia entry. The article also doesn't cite any of its information sources.

Ǣ I started editing this article for grammar and style problems, but realized that it needed a whole makeover. I would suggest to the editor who expanded the article the following:

ȳ Reorganize the article such that there is
Ǣan intro paragraph (include demographics, whom he was influenced by and whom he has influenced, e.g.) followed by
ɧ A synopsis of his history as a concert band drummer from Vanilla Fudge to today. The links to the various bands can flesh out some of the information (e.g., you don't have to mention minor reunion tours for Vanilla Fudge if that site mentions them). If it's as complicated as it looks, consider a timeline, e.g.,
           19?? - 19?? - Vanilla Fudge w/ "other musicians"
           19?? - 19?? - Cactus w/
           Etc., etc.
ɓ History as a studio musician songwriter (include mention of top hits),
ɓ Summarize his educational ventures (but avoid advertising them because this will be against WP policy.)
ǣ Concluding paragraph might include Rock Drummer quote.
       ȳ Discography
ɧ Avoid superlatives unless you are able to quote and cite reference. (This will help maintain the appearance of Neutral Point of View)
ɥ Provide references for statements. I would review the Wikipedia policy for biographies of living persons.

I hope this is helpful.--Fortheloveofhampsters 02:26, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Is there a cite for him working with Pink Floyd? It sounds most unlikely.209.43.8.126 14:12, 11 December 2006 (UTC)Michael Z. Williamson
