This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Carman (singer) article.

How can a link say that he married and then his ministries say that he is not? I find this to be incredibly confusing. Also, it does not say anywhere that Rebecca St. James herself used to open for his concerts. Where should that go?--Chili14(Talk|Contribs) 02:46, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Which link says that he is married? As far as Rebecca St. James opening for him, it says it on her page, which is sufficient. Bands and artists may have many people open for them throughout the years but I don't think it's appropriate to list them unless there is a special significance. [edit] Discography

Is it proper to list re-releases of albums in the discography? Sunday's on the Way was released in 1983 and again in 1991. Comin' on Strong was released in 1984 and again in 1992. Wouldn't it be correct to list only the original release if the subsequent releases are not significantly different? Wordbuilder 17:50, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] We can't say this…

However, whenever you speak to his ministry, they always say he's single.

…without proper evidence. HTH HAND —Phil | Talk 16:58, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] I have to believe that Chatfun101 vandalized this article on 14:38, October 5, 2006

Pretty much the entire page was changed. The new version does contain some information about Carmen, but it is not as readable as the old version. I think there should be a revert. Does anyone agree? Will (Talk - contribs) 02:56, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Subjectivity

Comments in the article needing help include

"After five years of ministerial preparation" - where at? Who with?
"[he] evolved contemporary evangelism into what it is today". Billy Graham might disagree.
"The vision combines a synergetic force of a multi-media experience, while sending the message of the Gospel to the heart of millions." - what does that mean?
"His website is the largest Solo Artist website of any kind on the internet" - is that notable? is it true? based on what criteria? (size of graphics, amount of visitors, ego of artist?)
"He is the only artist to ever release a double CD with a DVD in the same package: CARMAN Live and Reloaded" - U2, among others, would disagree.

I feel this article has excessive hype which distracts from its proper content. Blowmonkey 19:50, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
