Contributors should avoid tainting articles with their political bias. Pesquera's less-than-3% loss in 2000 was classified as having been "soundly defeated" by Sila Calderon, while his 3-to-1 loss to Rossello in 2003 was classified as a mere defeat. The truth is that you're soundly defeated when you lose 3 to 1, and you're narrowly defeated when it's by less than 3%!

[edit] Scandal at the Capitol

For the time after his election, I watched a news report apparently about Pesquera almost insiting a fight/riot up at the capitol while he was protesting Sila Maria Calderon's election. Could someone please confirm this? I have a rather bad memory, and I can't remember the details. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.45.125.99 (talk) 02:18, 12 December 2006 (UTC).
