[edit] Map coming

Once I figure out a good basemap, there'll be a map of the goldfields area; for now I guess I might transplant the image on the Cariboo Wagon Road page to here, as it at least shows were Barkerville is. I'm hoping to come up with a good early-period Interior map showing all the rushes and early ranches, and the complexity of the Cariboo goldfield towns as a region seems like it should be an "inset"; similarly for the Fraser Canyon Rush hopefully I can find an old image naming all the "bars" and the various towns of the period. Antler, Bullion, Richfield, Alexandria, and all the rest need context because of the article's text, and also most of them should have stubs/articles one day. This is just notes to myself for later; if someone with good Cariboo maps that are public-domain, or who knows the area and likes to draw maps, reads this let me know and let's collaborate. Ditto with Omineca, Big Bend, Fraser, Boundary, etc.Skookum1 05:02, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
