[edit] Copyright
I marked this article because the text was copied verbatim from the school's website. It will need to be rewritten or face removal. --Atrian 04:22, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Coincendtally, just as you tagged this article I was removing and creating my own text concerning the school. I've left the copyright tag just in case but i think everything is safe now. (chubbstar) 04:37, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Nope - a copyright violation must be fully removed; this means the article, and all its history is purged. In the copyvio notice, it specifically states "If you want to work on this article meanwhile, write a new article at the temporary subpage" for this very reason, because otherwise your recent good edits will also be removed as a result of the purge. whats going on?
- The page is listed on Wikipedia's copyright page. I inadvertently failed to list it there when I made the copyvio designation. An administrator noticed it and placed it there on June 23. The notice has to remain there for at least 7 days. In the interim, chubbstar has created a non-copyvio version on the subpage which I think is pretty good. Once this is process is settled the right course of action will be for the copyvio to be removed and the temporary subpage restored to the original page. An administrator has to do this part so we just have to wait for a couple of more days. Cheers. --Atrian 15:41, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
