Cary Burkett is a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania broadcaster, currently affiliated with WITF. Burkett attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a BFA degree in theater, and subsequently toured with a number of U.S. theater companies, performing in summer stock, dinner theaters, and off-Broadway showcases. Burkett supplemented his acting income by writing scripts for DC Comics and Marvel Comics, writing for characters including Superman, Batman and Spiderman.
