Carver is a fictional character, a mutant in the Marvel Comics Universe. His first appearance was in Wolverine (2nd series) #157.

[edit] Fictional character biography

Carver was the leader of a band of Morlocks, and first clashed with Wolverine when the feral X-Man, along with Spider-Man and N.Y.P.D. Lieutenant Tara Curson were searching for a serial killer in the tunnels underneath New York.

Challenged to a duel by Wolverine for control of his tribe, Carver ultimately lost the duel after an earthquake triggered by the Mole Man knocked him into a deep lava-filled chasm and he fell to his apparent death.
