Formerly known as Carta Mundi, Cartamundi is Europe's leading playing card manufacturer, based in Turnhout, Belgium. The privately-held company, founded in 1970 as a joint venture between three long-established printing companies, also maintains manufacturing facilities in Altenburg, Germany and Kingsport, Tennessee. The company produced the cards and chips used in the James Bond movie Casino Royale (2006 film).
