Carsten Nicolai, also known as Noto or Alva Noto, is a German artist who is very active as a musician in the field of glitch music and a co-founder of the renowned German record label Raster-Noton. Carsten Nicolai is also working as a visual artist. Using the principles of Cymatics he is visualizing or materializing sound.
