Carramar is a minor railway station on the CityRail Inner West Line. It serves the Sydney suburb of Carramar, which is mainly a residential area. It has an island platform, built with the opening of the line. Under the Southern Sydney Freight Line project, a third track will be built by 2008 to carry freight trains separately from the passenger lines.
[edit] Service
The station is serviced by up to 2 trains per hour in each direction on the Inner West Line during peak hours and at night on weekdays, and 2 trains per hour on the Bankstown Line all day. This makes 4 trains per hour in each direction during peak hours and at night on weekdays, and 2 trains per hour in each direction outside these times. The trains are not evenly spaced.
[edit] Accessibility
The station has an overhead footbridge connected to the platforms by stairs. Thus the station does not qualify as having Easy Access for wheelchairs.
