Carrù is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 km south of Turin and about 30 km northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,161 and an area of 26.0 km2.[1]
The municipality of Carrù contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Giovanni, Frave, Bordino, S.Anna, Ronchi, and Marenchi.
Carrù borders the following municipalities: Bastia Mondovì, Bene Vagienna, Clavesana, Farigliano, Magliano Alpi, Mondovì, and Piozzo.
