Carpenter Avenue Elementary School

Carpenter Avenue Elementary School is a public K-5 elementary school in Los Angeles, California.

Carpenter Avenue is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school is in Studio City and currently has about 900 students enrolled. The school was opened in 1924 under the same name and in the same location.

Although it never had a highly gifted magnet program, it did until recently have a program for highly gifted students. The current principal is Linda Parth and the assistant principal is Sandy Hartshorn.



Recent additions

The school recently had a newer, larger library built complete with internet connection and computers for research. A new YMCA bungalo was put in to replace the older one and a set of bungalos were added for kindergarten classes.
