Carom

Carom is a board game. The word carom can refer to:

  • Carambole billiards, a billiards game possibly developed in the 18th century in France
  • Carrom, a family of tabletop games sharing a similarity in that their mechanics lie somewhere between billiards and shuffleboard
  • a slang term for a rebound in basketball
  • Ajwain, (also known as Carom, Ajowan, Bishop's Weed and Seeds Of Bishop's Weed), is an uncommon spice except in certain areas of Asia.
  • an invented term used in the television series Battlestar Galactica to describe the location of a DRADIS contact.
