Caroline Winberg (b. March 27, 1985 in Sweden) is a Swedish supermodel.
Having started her modeling career at the tender age of 16, Caroline Winberg has since bowled over her colleagues and employers with an firm work ethic. There’s little doubt that her preference for sleep over partying has contributed heavily to this, as it seems obvious that Caroline takes her work very seriously.
Caroline has revealed herself to be a bright and intelligent figure (one of her favorite movies is Ingmar Bergman’s Wild Strawberries).
At the age of 17 she gained sudden fame, not for appearing in a well-known campaign or fashion show, but for a scandal involving herself and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. She claimed that the singer, who was 59 at the time, had been harassing her with phone calls after seeing her on the runway. Her parents, Thomas and Camila, even asked Jagger to leave their daughter in peace. The singer denied any such phone calls.
She has been in campaigns for Valentino, Chloé, Versace, Victoria's Secret and Neiman Marcus and has graced the covers of Italian Vogue, Russian Vogue, and (twice) German Vogue.
She currently lives in New York and is friends with fellow models Marija Vujovic, Gemma Ward and Lily Cole.
