She also appeared in the 2003 made-for-TV movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding which was a reunion movie for the popular series Baywatch.[3], [4]

[edit] Introduction to the series in Season 5

Caroline first had a guest appearance on Baywatch on October 25, 1993. She was later introduced into Baywatch in Season 5 in 1994 as a full member of the cast - the sister of lifeguard Lt. Stephanie Holden, played by actress Alexandra Paul;[6] in real life, Alexandra does have a sister named Caroline. Caroline shared an apartment with her sister and another lifeguard, C.J. Parker, played by Pamela Anderson. Caroline developed a romantic interest in fellow lifeguard, Logan Fowler, played by Jaason Simmons.

Like the other lifeguards, Caroline was strong, brave and beautiful. She had a long running feud with blonde lifeguard C.J. Parker (Pamela Anderson). At one point Caroline was completely humiliated when she was attempting to rescue a swimmer and her tight, form fitting red bathing suit uniform was peeled off by the waves, leaving her completely naked in the water.

In one episode, Caroline found Jack "J.D." Darius (Michael Bergin) in her bed. The embarrassing situation was explained by Cody Madison (David Chokachi).[7]

[edit] Left the series in Season 7

Yasmine Bleeth left Baywatch in Season 7 in 1997, but she agreed to guest-star in a number of episodes in Season 8 in 1998 in order to explain her character's departure from the TV show. Caroline's departure was explained by indicating that she won a part in the fictional TV soap opera called "Shannon's Hope" and had to move to New York City for her new acting career. Bleeth had been a soap opera star on Ryan's Hope when she was a teenager.
