Carolina Day School is a private school located in Asheville, North Carolina. The school was founded in 1987 through the merger of Asheville Country Day School and St. Genevieve/Gibbons Hall. The current Headmaster is Beverly Sgro, who served as secretary of Education for the Commonwealth of Virginia from 1994-1998. The school is known for a focus on character development, athletics, and college-preparatory academics. Many students go on to enter the University of North Carolina system or attend a variety of selective colleges around the country.

Established in 1997; provides bright students with language-based learning differences the educational opportunity to overcome their differences and to achieve their maximum potential in school and in life. Teachers use the Orton-Gillingham approach to multisensory instruction.
