Carol W. Hunstein

Carol W. Hunstein (born 1944) is a justice of the Georgia Supreme Court. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University and Stetson University School of Law, Hunstein served as a superior court judge in Dekalb County, Georgia from 1984 to 1992. In 1992, Governor Zell Miller appointed her to the state's high court. She has been elected to the court by the voters three times since then, most recently winning a hotly contested race in November 2006. Hunstein also serves as an adjunct professor at the Emory University school of law.
