Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy is a state-run health sciences university in Bucharest, Romania. It is comprised of three major colleges: Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Pharmacy. It is the largest institution of its kind in Romania. The University uses the facilities of over 20 Bucharest clinical hospitals.

In the beginning (1857) it was the first medical school in Romania, created under the name National School of Medicine and Pharmacy by the French expatriate medic Charles Davila. In 1869 it became a Faculty in the newly created University of Bucharest. The first doctoral degrees were granted in 1873, and the doctoral degree became the de facto graduation in 1888.

The School of Pharmacy was created in 1889 and became the Faculty of Pharmacy in 1923.
