The Carnival Liberty is a cruise ship in the fleet of Carnival Cruise Lines. She was built by Fincantieri, an Italian ship building company. In November 2006, during a transatlantic voyage from Rome to Fort Lauderdale, 700 of the 2800 on the Liberty fell ill with what was believed to have been Norovirus.

The Liberty is the first Carnival ship to feature the Carnival Seaside Theatre – a 12-foot high by 22-foot wide LED screen located by the pool on the Lido deck, which is used to show movies, sporting events, and concerts.
